Buccaneers’ HC Announces Four Players Out vs Cowboys

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers travel to Dallas Thursday night for a matchup with the Cowboys. Tampa Bay will be without four key players, but two important contributors are available.

Via Fox Sports’ Greg Auman,

“Bowles rules out four players for Thursday night in Dallas: QB Baker Mayfield, S Antoine Winfield, CB Benjamin Morrison, LB SirVocea Dennis. Everyone else should be good to go, including K Chase McLaughlin and rookie OLB Rueben Bain.”

Bain and McLaughlin Are Good to Go

The biggest positives are the availability of rookie edge rusher Rueben Bain and kicker Chase McLaughlin. Both players will be available despite the Buccaneers entering the game on a short week.

Bain’s return gives Tampa Bay another important piece along the defensive front. McLaughlin’s availability is equally significant, especially considering the team’s recent struggles in close games.

Four Players Ruled Out

Tampa Bay will officially be without Baker Mayfield, Antoine Winfield, Benjamin Morrison and SirVocea Dennis. Their absences will force the Buccaneers to rely on their available depth.

Still, having Bain and McLaughlin ready to play provides Tampa Bay with two significant reinforcements heading into Thursday night.
