Buccaneers Offensive Weapons Get Impressive Ranking
Douglas DeFelice-USA TODAY Sports

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' offense, under the guidance of Baker Mayfield and offensive coordinator Liam Coen, was one of the best in football last season.

Fourth for points per game (29.5), fifth in rushing yards per game (146.5), fourth in passing yards per game (246.7), and fourth in total touchdowns (59) paint the picture of an offense that did as it pleased.

Now, we add in Ohio State receiver, and first-round selection Emeka Egbuka to an offense already housing Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Jalen McMillan, and now Baker has a serious list of weapons.

For Bleacher Report, Tampa Bay has the third-best offense in football per their rankings, with only the San Francisco 49ers (2) and Baltimore Ravens (1) ahead of them.

"The Bucs' wide receiver room is outrageously talented and quarterback Baker Mayfield has only gotten better each year with the team," Bleacher Report writes. "Egbuka alongside Mike Evans, Jalen McMillan and the returning Chris Godwin should form a devastating quartet and allow Mayfield to improve upon last year's career-highs in complete percentage (71.4), passing yardage (4,500) and touchdowns (41)."

Mayfield's weapons are the envy of the NFL, with ample options to go to, defenses won't be able to double anyone, plus, we haven't even mentioned their stellar run game with Bucky Irving and Rachaad White yet.

Pick your poison feels about right here.

Sink defenders into coverage, and Irving will run riot. Stack the box, and you leave Evans, Godwin, McMillan, and Egbuka singled up.

How defenses play the Buccaneers will be a fascinating watch, and looking at the abundance of weapons, it is easy to see why many have Tampa Bay as one of the best offenses in football heading into 2025.

They just have to prove it on the field.
