Buccaneers Place Two Players On Injured Reserve

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have placed two players on the Injured Reserve list ahead of Monday night’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Via the team’s website,

“The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today placed cornerback Jamel Dean and wide receiver Kameron Johnson on Injured Reserve. Additionally, the team has activated defensive lineman Earnest Brown IV from Injured Reserve.”

“The Buccaneers have also elevated punter Trenton Gill from the practice squad for Tampa Bay’s Week 7 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. It represents Gill’s third elevation of the season.”

Jamel Dean has been nursing a hamstring injury, and Kameron Johnson has been dealing with an ankle issue. Both players will be unavailable for at least four weeks.

In related news, the Bucs have activated defensive lineman Earnest Brown IV from Injured Reserve and elevated punter Trenton Gill from the practice squad.
