Buccaneers Rule Out Four Players for Packers Game

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host the Green Bay Packers on Sunday with Jalon Daniels making his first career NFL start.

Daniels is replacing Baker Mayfield, who is sidelined with his injured thumb. However, Mayfield will not be the only Bucs player unavailable against Green Bay.

Four Tampa Bay players have officially been ruled out for Sunday’s matchup.

Via Fox Sports’ Greg Auman,

“Bowles says four players are ruled out for Sunday: QB Baker Mayfield, OLB Rueben Bain, CB Benjamin Morrison and TE Ko Kieft. Diaby, Trotter, Irving and others are all good to go.”

Bain and Morrison will leave Tampa Bay without two important young defensive pieces. Kieft will also be unavailable as the Buccaneers prepare for Green Bay.

Meanwhile, Yaya Diaby, Josiah Trotter, Bucky Irving and the other players mentioned by Auman are expected to be available.
