The Tampa Bay Buccaneers fresh off their 26-23 overtime victory over the Carolina Panthers have made a roster move. Per Fox Sports Greg Auman the team is waiving punter Trenton Gill.

Via Fox Sports Greg Auman,

“Bucs waived punter Trenton Gill, who had a short punt and kickoff that led to short fields for Panthers touchdowns on Sunday. Bucs are onto punter No. 3 for 2024.”

Confirmation by the team’s website,

“The Tampa Bay Buccaneers today waived punter Trenton Gill.”

More from the team,

“On Monday afternoon, the Buccaneers released Gill, who had handled the punting and kickoff duties in eight of the team’s first 12 games. Two of those appearances came while Gill was on the practice squad and was elevated for game day. The last six were after Gill was promoted to the active roster to replace Jake Camarda, who was waived on October 22.”

No corresponding move was announced, but it’s assumed the team will promote punter Jack Browning from their practice squad.
