Buccaneers Will Debut a Creamsicle White Uniform for Their 50th Anniversary

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 50th season celebration is packed with nostalgia and style: the team will debut a creamsicle white uniform, a never-before-seen version of their iconic throwbacks, which will be officially unveiled on July 15.

This new design, accidentally leaked in February by the designer of the 50th anniversary logo, features fluorescent orange numbers outlined in red, replicating the look of the team’s inaugural 1976 campaign. The kit will be completed with a white helmet and white pants, exactly as the team wore them during that first regular season. A special 50th anniversary patch, color-coordinated with the jersey, will be prominent on the left shoulder.

When will we see this new white uniform?

While it’s already been confirmed that the home version of the creamsicle throwback, featuring an orange jersey and red and white accents, will be worn on Thursday Night Football against the Atlanta Falcons on December 11, a date for the white version has yet to be officially announced. However, there are several key dates that could be candidates: September 21 against the New York Jets in the home opener (and official anniversary celebration), or October 5 in Seattle, where the Seahawks—also in their 50th season—will wear their own throwback uniform.
