The Buffalo Bills have put together a strong 2025 NFL draft. In the fourth round, they went with an intriguing defensive back out of Ohio State.

With the No. 170 overall pick, the Bills brought in Buckeyes' cornerback Jordan Hancock. Among the huge number of Ohio State players drafted, Hancock was one of the biggest sleepers.

During the 2024 college football season with the Buckeyes, Hancock put up solid numbers. He totaled 48 tackles to go along with 0.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, an interception, and eight defended passes.

Last season, Buffalo badly needed more help in the secondary. Hancock will have an opportunity to earn playing time right off the bat to begin his NFL career.

Following the Bills' decision to select Hancock, they received a strong message about the pick.

Chris Trapasso of CBS Sports shared his grade and analysis for the Hancock pick. He gave Buffalo an "A" grade, sending a strong message of support for the pick.

"Underrated element to Ohio State's secondary in 2024. Did everything. Smooth movements and loose hips," he wrote

"Explosive to the football in coverage. Smart play recognition keeps him near the football frequently. Block avoidance is refined but can look for big hit too frequently. Flashed in challenging slot CB coverage duties and ran well with vertical as deep safety. Needed safety depth with high floor and decently high upside."

Hancock and the Bills are without a doubt one of the top Super Bowl contenders in the NFL. After making a run to the AFC championship game last season, Buffalo will be looking to finally get over the hump in 2025.
