Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry and Cleveland Browns edge-rusher Myles Garrett are not only two of the best players in the NFL today, but they are two of the best to play their respective positions in the modern era of the NFL. They continued to cement their claim to that status on Sunday when both players had milestone plays to pass a couple of NFL legends.
Henry's touchdown run in the second quarter against the Chicago Bears on Sunday was the 111th touchdown run of his career, moving him into sole possession of fifth place on the all-time NFL list and breaking a tie that he was previously in with Bears Hall of Famer Walter Payton.
Eventually climbing into the top three is within reach for Henry if he can play another season at a high level. He is now just nine touchdowns behind Adrian Peterson for fourth on the all-time list and 12 behind Marcus Allen for third.
LaDainian Tomlinson (145) and Emmitt Smith (164) are probably out of reach at this point in Henry's career, but the top three is certainly attainable.

While Henry was moving ahead of one of the NFL's all-time greats on offense, Garrett was doing the same on defense when he recorded career sack No. 108.5 during the Browns' game against the New England Patriots. That officially moved him ahead of Reggie White for the most sacks ever by a player under the age of 30.

Garrett is one of the most disruptive pass-rushers in the NFL and is constantly making an impact even when not getting a sack. But he is also really good at accumulating those. So good, in fact, that nobody has done it better than him through the same point of his career.
