Cam Ward of the Tennessee Titans is in the middle of the offseason preparing for the 2026 NFL season. After being selected No. 1 overall by Tennessee in the 2025 NFL Draft, Ward played admirably for the Titans during his rookie season. The 6-foot-2 quarterback showed his toughness last season, appearing in all 17 games despite tying Geno Smith of the New York Jets as the NFL’s most-sacked quarterback (55).
Ward ended the year completing 323 passes on 540 attempts for a 59.8% completion percentage. The Texas native threw for 3,169 yards (17th in the NFL) and 15 touchdowns. The former Miami Hurricanes quarterback kept his turnovers low, throwing only seven interceptions.
No matter the team, any quarterback drafted No. 1 overall will be under a microscope. It appears the media lens will be further magnified on the Columbia High School graduate, as Netflix announced Wednesday that Ward will appear in Season 3 of “Quarterback.” “Quarterback” is a Netflix TV series developed through a partnership between NFL Films and Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions, with Patrick Mahomes’ 2PM Productions assisting with production for Season 3.
Season 1 of “Quarterback” highlighted the Kansas City Chiefs’ Mahomes, Kirk Cousins during his time with the Minnesota Vikings, and Marcus Mariota’s tenure with the Atlanta Falcons. Season 2 was released in 2025 and featured the Cincinnati Bengals’ Joe Burrow, the Detroit Lions’ Jared Goff, and Kirk Cousins’ time with the Atlanta Falcons.
Along with Ward, Season 3 will feature Joe Flacco and his move from the Cleveland Browns to the Bengals, the Washington Commanders’ Jayden Daniels, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Baker Mayfield. The new season will debut on Netflix on July 14.
