Frustration is already mounting for Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Cam Ward.
The Tennessee offense put up its worst performance of the season on Sunday in a 26-0 loss to the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium in Houston, Tx. The Titans managed just 175 yards of total offense and never even made it into the red zone.
Ward was unable to hide his frustration after the game, and he had a profane comment on where things stand for his team through four games.
“If we’re keeping a book right now, we’re a–,” Ward told reporters. “We’re 0-4. At this point, we’ve got nothing to lose. We’ve dropped a quarter of our f—ing games. We’ve yet to do anything. We have to lock in, especially myself.”
Ward went 10-3 at Miami last season, so he obviously is not used to losing this much. He has largely been bottled up so far by defenses, and went just 10/26 on Sunday for 108 yards with an interception. He has only hit 200 yards passing once, and is still in search of his first multi-touchdown game.
The Titans made a significant change for this week’s game, but it did not do anything to improve results. They are staring at a lost season already.
