Cardi B announces she’s pregnant with Stefon Diggs’ baby

“I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong,” Cardi B told King, explaining that she feels “excited” and “happy” regarding the pregnancy, as she’s preparing to release new music as well.

“I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work. But I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby, me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other.”

She credited Diggs with keeping her balanced amid some huge changes in her life. It’s evident the two have been a great match since getting together.

“He just makes me feel safe and very confident and very strong,” Cardi B added. “I mean, like, two weeks ago I was literally having a panic attack. I was, like, crying and crying and crying, just because I was just getting really nervous with you know, the whole album rollout … People were coming at me very hard. You know, sometimes people love you, people hate you. And people was just saying very mean things about me.

“… I’m like, see, this is why I don’t put music out, because it’s like, this is my art and this is something that I put a lotta love and time to. And it’s just like, sometimes, when people just rip it apart it just hurts you and it crushes you. … He makes me feel very confident, and it makes you feel like you could take over the world.”

Alas, the news of Cardi’s pregnancy comes at a wild time for both the rapper and the wide receiver. Cardi B is preparing to release her sophomore album, but Diggs is in Year 1 with the Patriots after inking a massive contract with New England in free agency.

Both will continue to try to lift each other up as they add a new chapter to their relationship. Diggs first game since the announcement will come this weekend against the Pittsburgh Steelers in New England. Perhaps a special celebration is in store if he catches a touchdown.
