GLENDALE — Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker was in full holiday spirit on Friday during the team’s press conferences.
Baker, a seven-year veteran, has always been one of the team’s biggest personalities, often showing a side of himself that goes beyond the field.
In a fun moment, the Arizona safety arrived wearing a gremlin mask to celebrate Halloween, a playful nod to one of the year’s spookiest days. He said he’d been scaring people all day.
“It’s been fun,” Baker said. “Always good to celebrate Halloween and the holiday when they’re on workdays.”

Baker isn’t the only NFL player to embrace the holiday. Detroit Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson dressed as Eleven from Stranger Things , and running back Jahmyr Gibbs went as pro wrestling legend Jeff Hardy earlier in the week.

With the team facing speculation and questions about its season, Baker offered a lighthearted break by being himself and having fun with reporters.
The Cardinals now turn their focus beyond Halloween to their next challenge Monday, when they face the Dallas Cowboys on Nov. 3 and look to snap a five-game losing streak.
