GLENDALE — Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. likes the connection he and quarterback Kyler Murray have created during preseason camp.

Harrison Jr. spoke to reporters on Monday afternoon about what he and Murray have done to strengthen their bond. He said that they both continue to communicate off the field, between meetings and even after plays.

“I definitely like where we’re at,” he said, according to PHNX Cardinals’ Bo Brack. “We just have to go out and put it on the field now.”

Last year, Harrison Jr. had 885 total yards with 62 receptions and eight touchdowns. Despite a tough rookie year, the Cardinals’ WR is ready to be more productive this season, not only with his improved connection with Murray, but also by finding his place within the offense during camp.

“I know what we’re trying to do as an offense,” Harrison Jr. said. “Moving around formations a lot. Playing different spots, I definitely feel more comfortable in the system.”

Harrison Jr. has dedicated himself to improving on the field and strengthening connections with his team to help lead them to a successful season.
