GLENDALE – The Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers have announced their injury report ahead of the teams’ Week 2 matchup against each other. The two franchises labeled each listed player’s involvement in Thursday’s practice from full participation to did not practice (DNP).

Rookie linebacker Cody Simon was DNP and has been recovering from his scary collision with team captain Joey Blount in Week 1. Backup tight end Tip Reiman was also DNP, as he is battling a foot injury that puts his status for Sunday’s game up in the air.

The Panthers listed seven first stringers on the injury report, with cornerback Akayleb Evans being the only lone backup on the list. Defensive tackle Turk Wharton was the only Carolina player that did not practice on Thursday, which would be a massive blow the the defensive line to not have the two-time Super Bowl champion.
