Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill: Kyler Murray 'a part of our long-term plan'

Just a few weeks after franchise quarterback Kyler Murray famously removed all mentions of the Arizona Cardinals on his social media accounts, it appears that all is right in the desert again.

On Thursday, it was reported that the Cardinals and Murray were now "on the same page." On Friday morning, the team's owner, Michael Bidwill seemed to further confirm some of those reports.

The 24-year-old Murray threw 24 touchdown passes and 10 interceptions in the regular season, and he was one of eight NFL starters to end the year with a passer rating above 100. He struggled in the late portion of the campaign, though, and tossed two picks in Arizona's 34-11 wild-card round loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

The top-overall pick from 2019 and former Heisman Trophy winner has one year left on his contract with the Cardinals, but the team will decide this offseason if it wants to pick up the fifth-year option on his rookie deal.
