GLENDALE – Arizona Cardinals rookie running back Jeremiyah Love football ability is out of this world, but his ability to recognizing faces might need some work. The 21-year-old appeared on the St. Brown podcast, hosted by the NFL brother due of Amon-Ra and Equaimeous. The brothers wanted Love to play a game of identifying NFL Pro Bowlers and legend. The All-American put on one of the worst performances, not being able to name Jared Goff or Calvin Johnson.
Hilarious: #Cardinals RB Jeremiyah Love played a game on @StBrownPodcast where he had to identify NFL players…
He couldn’t get Jared Goff to start.
At the end, he admits he actually has no idea who Jared Goff is.
“He’s a QB? Was he good…? He’s on your team right now?!”

Amon-Ra got on the rookie for not knowing Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey, whose an Alumni of Norte Dame. The only name Love was able to get correct was his rookie peer in Arvell Reese, who he likely saw plenty of times during the NFL draft process. The final name the Heisman finalist missed was Madden 12 cover athlete Peyton Hillis, who is widely considered a one-season wonder.
While being one of the most athletically gifted football players to touch a NFL field coming in 2026, Love’s knowledge of the players is quite limited. The excuse used by the third overall pick was he’s only good at names and not faces, which doesn’t help much for Love’s case for not knowing some of the most famous NFL players in recent memory.
Despite not being the most knowledgeable fan of football, the Cardinals will just need their star running back to know his teammates, the plays before next season to prove their investment was worth it. Something he’s more than capable of doing with his talents.
