Carson Wentz begins working out with Colts receivers

The trade sending Carson Wentz from the Philadelphia Eagles to the Indianapolis Colts won't become official until Wednesday, but that's not stopping the quarterback from getting to know his new teammates.

Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. posted a photo to Instagram from a recent workout that shows him and Dezmon Patmon training with Wentz in Indianapolis.

The Colts are hoping Wentz can rejuvenate his career alongside his former offensive coordinator Frank Reich. He had a disastrous 2020 campaign and was eventually benched for Jalen Hurts.

It's nice to see Wentz working out with some of his new teammates ahead of the 2021 season. It shows he's dedicated to improving and is focused on adapting to the offense quickly.

The 28-year-old still is unsure what number he'll wear next season. Pittman wears No. 11 and already said he wouldn't give it up.
