Ekeler has been out since Week 4 with a hamstring injury. In four games this season, Ekeler has 49 carries for 248 yards and one touchdown with 17 catches for 144 yards.
Defensive end Jessie Lemonier has been waived as a result of Ekeler's activation. He appeared in just three games this season.
Getting Ekeler back is a good sign for the Chargers, who are 3-7 on the season, but it might not make much of a difference against Josh Allen and the 7-3 Bills on Sunday.
