The Los Angels Chargers are putting together what could be one of the best seasons in franchise history. They're off to a 3-0 start in 2025, with all three wins coming against their AFC West rivals.

Los Angeles will now travel to New York to face a struggling Giants team in Week 4, who will have a rookie quarterback making his first career start.

Not only do the Chargers have a great opportunity to remain undefeated on Sunday, but two of the best players in the history of their franchise can make some history in the process.

Justin Herbert can become fourth QB in NFL history to throw for 300 yards 30 times in first six seasons

Herbert currently has 29 career games in which he has thrown for 300 or more passing yards. He'll obviously get to 30 at some point this season, but it could happen this week against a Giants' defense that ranks 31st in total defense.

When Herbert achieves that, he'll tie Hall of Famer Kurt Warner for third all time. Herbert will then trail Hall of Famer Dan Marino but just two games, making it very reasonable that he will pass him as well in 2025.

Topping the list is Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, who has 41. Herbert could technically pass him as well this season, but that will be a pretty tall task. However, that's not the only history that Herbert can make on Sunday.

Justin Herbert can set NFL record for longest streak of throwing zero interceptions during road games

Herbert has gone nine consecutive regular season games without throwing an interception. If he does not throw one against the Giants this week, he will become the first QB in league history to not throw an interception in 10 straight road games.

Herbert threw his fist interception last week against the Denver Broncos, and threw only three last season. Perhaps one of his most trusted weapons, wide receiver Keenan Allen, can help him out as Allen also chases and NFL record.

Keenan Allen can become fastest player ever to reach 1,000 career receptions

Allen currently has 993 receptions throughout his 13-year NFL career, putting him seven away from 1,000. The fastest player to that mark is Hall of Fame WR Marvin Harrison, who did it in 167 games.

Allen has played in just 157 games, so whether it happens this week or not, he will get there in time. Allen currently leads all Chargers pass catchers in receptions with 19.
