The Los Angeles Chargers are receiving trade inquiries from teams around the NFL following their disastrous 0-6 start to the 2026 season, although the organization has shown little indication that it intends to make significant roster changes ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline.
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported Saturday that Los Angeles continues to signal its intention to stand pat despite growing interest from other teams.
“Chargers, at 0-6, still giving impression they are standing pat. But a long way till Nov. 10 deadline, and Chargers are receiving calls,” Fowler wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The report comes as the Chargers enter their Week 7 bye without a victory, raising questions about whether the organization should consider moving players to acquire draft capital for the future.
Los Angeles entered the season hoping to build on its 11-6 record in 2025, which ended with a wild-card playoff loss to the New England Patriots. Instead, the Chargers have endured a difficult start despite hiring former Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel as offensive coordinator.
The Chargers are not the only struggling team drawing attention as the deadline approaches.
Fowler also reported that the Indianapolis Colts could wait another week or two before determining their approach, with potential victories influencing their decision. Meanwhile, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could consider becoming sellers if their struggles continue.
For Los Angeles, the upcoming bye provides an opportunity to evaluate its roster and determine whether maintaining its current approach remains realistic.
Although the Chargers have received calls, Fowler’s report does not identify specific players generating interest or indicate that negotiations have advanced.
The Chargers will return to action in Week 8 against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, Nov. 1, at 1:05 p.m. PT on FOX.
With the trade deadline approaching, Los Angeles faces increasing pressure to decide whether to remain committed to its current roster or explore potential moves.
