The Los Angeles Chargers (7–3) head to Jacksonville for a critical Week 11 matchup that could shape the AFC playoff picture. Fresh off a statement win on Sunday Night Football against the Steelers, Jim Harbaugh’s squad will look to keep momentum rolling — and they’re finally getting some relief on the injury front.
After a stretch defined by attrition, the Chargers received encouraging updates on several key players. “Tarheeb Still, Bobby Hart and Oronde Gadsden will all practice today,” Harbaugh told reporters Wednesday, while noting rest days for veterans including Keenan Allen, Khalil Mack, and Derwin James.
That’s no small development. Still, the promising second-year cornerback has missed the past two games with an ankle injury but avoided an IR stint — a sign he’s close to returning. Bobby Hart, who has held down the right tackle spot after season-ending injuries to Rashawn Slater and Joe Alt, is also trending upward. His veteran stability has been crucial for Justin Herbert’s protection.

Is Jim Harbaugh The Real Life Ted Lasso?
Perhaps the biggest sigh of relief came with rookie tight end Oronde Gadsden II. Initially feared to have suffered a knee injury against Pittsburgh, Gadsden’s MRI revealed only a bone bruise. ESPN’s Adam Schefter later confirmed it as a “quad bruise” with a “day-to-day” designation.
By Wednesday, Gadsden was a full participant in practice, signaling a strong chance he’ll suit up against the Jaguars. That’s a major boost for Los Angeles — Gadsden has emerged as one of Herbert’s most trusted targets, ranking fourth on the team in receiving yards (466) despite a slow start to his rookie campaign.
With a win, the Chargers could move to 8–3 and all but solidify their postseason footing — a remarkable turnaround for a team that’s battled through injuries but found ways to keep rising.
