The NFL released the full schedule of games for the 2026 season, including the Chicago Bears’ slate. Fans are already looking forward to some key fixtures.
The Bears are fresh off a strong 2025 season. Caleb Williams proved that he is the long-term answer at quarterback, leading the franchise to the Divisional Round. Chicago fought hard and only lost 20-17 in overtime to the Los Angeles Rams. The 2022 Heisman Trophy winner will look to guide the team to a deeper run next season and potentially compete for the Super Bowl.
However, it won’t be easy as the Bears face the toughest schedule ahead. Williams and company are coming off an NFC North title and will have targets on their backs.
One of the most anticipated games on Chicago’s schedule is the Christmas Day clash with the Green Bay Packers. The rivals have a long history, and a win on arguably the biggest stage of the regular season would boost the Bears’ confidence.
On Saturday, the team announced the matchup on Instagram.
“Home for the holidays ,” the Bears wrote.

Chicago fans quickly took the opportunity to troll Green Bay in the comments section.
“We KICK their cheesehead buttuskis!!!!!” a comment read.
“I guess we have to ruin Christmas for all of those Packers fans ⬇️,” one user wrote.
“Looks like Santa is bringing the Bears a W for Christmas ,” a fan said.
“It’s time for the Cheese Grater! It’s time for the Cheese Grater!!! ,” a reaction read.
“Grated cheese in everyone’s stocking this year!” another posted.
“The Packers are becoming the Steelers, doing just enough to make the playoffs, but never a real threat in the Super Bowl conversation,” posted a fan.
The Bears entered the offseason with clear roster holes, but filled them with key veteran signings and draft selections. Williams will have a talented lineup around him in 2026 and is expected to make the most out of it.
Kickoff for the Week 16 matchup is set for 1:00 p.m. ET at Soldier Field. Netflix will broadcast the game live.
