Chicago Bears Legend Doesn’t Hold Back About Aaron Rodgers

The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears have been bitter rivals for years. They still form one of the best rivalries in the NFL and there is still a lot of hate between the two franchises.

For years, Aaron Rodgers “owned” the Bears. He led the Packers to many epic victories over the bitter rival. However, those days have come and gone.

Rodgers was traded to the New York Jets, where he tore his Achilles in his first year. He came back strong last season, but parted ways with the team this offseason. Now, he’s gearing up for what he says will be his final NFL season with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Brian Urlacher is one of the biggest names in Chicago history. Fans in Green Bay are not big fans of Urlacher.

That being said, Bears fans are not going to be happy with what Urlacher had to say about Rodgers recently.

Urlacher opened up and revealed that he’s a big fan of Rodgers.

“I’m an Aaron Rodgers fan,” Urlacher said. “People get mad if they want to. I like the way he plays. I like what he stands for. I like what he says. I just, I’m a fan.”

He continued on to speak out about Rodgers’ upcoming season with the Steelers.

“My wife’s a Steelers fan, so she’s over the moon about him being there,” Urlacher said. “I’m not as excited as she is. But as a football fan, I want to see what he can do with that team, you know, they got a great defense. They got DK Metcalf. They got some guys on offense that can play. So if Aaron, you know, comes back two years after that (ACL injury) the way we think he will, I think they’ll have a good season.”

It will be interesting to see what the 2025 season has in store for the 41-year-old future Hall of Fame quarterback. Hopefully, he can go out playing at a high level. Even though things didn’t end the best with the Packers, Rodgers is still arguably the best player to ever play in the green and yellow.

Hearing Urlacher open up about his opinion of Rodgers is awesome for Green Bay fans. Chicago fans might have a difficult time coming to terms with these comments.
