Chicago Bears legend Steve "Mongo" McMichael is in the hospital again, fighting ALS. Mongo went home in February and was elected to the NFL Hall of Fame as well. But the McMichael family announced on Wednesday the Bears great is undergoing tests and is back in the hospital.

The legendary Chicago Bears defensive lineman was diagnosed with ALS in 2021. In part of 2023, Mongo's health was improving. In February 2024, he was admitted to the ICU fighting an infection but got better, and eventually, he went home.
But now the McMichael family is asking for prayers for the 66-year-old as he undergoes further testing and will update fans as soon as they can.
