Caleb Williams is the cornerstone of the Chicago Bears for many years to come. After just two seasons in the NFL, the former No. 1 overall pick has already established himself as an elite quarterback and one of the best in the league.
In 2025, Williams led Chicago to the NFC North title. With the former USC Trojans star under center, the Bears won their first playoff game since 2011. The icing on top of the cake is that they broke a 15-year postseason drought by defeating their bitter rivals, the Green Bay Packers, in the Wild Card round.
Williams finished his second season with 330-of-568 completed passes (58.1%) for 3,942 yards, 27 touchdowns and just seven interceptions.
As Williams’ star continues to rise, the 24-year-old has not forgotten about his roots. Williams established the Caleb Cares Foundation in 2024. According to its website, the foundation’s mission is to “prevent bullying, shine a spotlight on mental health and empower young people.”
This is exactly what Caleb Cares did on Tuesday. Williams himself took to social media to share his foundation’s announcement on the Chicago Caleb Cares Hero Award winner, Kyrhin Dean.
“Congratulations to our Chicago Caleb Cares Hero Award winner! Thank you for being a great friend and leader!#ThinkKindness” the post read, which Williams shared via his Instagram stories.

Williams, through his foundation, is recognizing Dean’s contributions to his community. The post also noted that the young man’s “kindness and respect towards others doesn’t go unnoticed.”
Williams is now looking forward to making an impact on the football field as well. If his career trajectory over his first two years is any indication of what’s to come in 2026, then the Bears can expect big things from their quarterback this coming season.
