Caleb Williams continues to become a major part of the Chicago Bears culture. In just two seasons, he has helped the franchise bounce back.

The 24-year-old quarterback led the Bears to their best NFL record since 2018. They finished with an 11-6 record en route to winning the NFC North title. In the Wild Card playoffs, Chicago defeated their longtime rivals, the Green Bay Packers, 31-27.

Unfortunately, they failed to overcome the challenge of the Los Angeles Rams in the next round, losing 17-20 in overtime.

As for Williams, he had a great second season in Chicago. He finished the year with a franchise record of 3,942 passing yards, resulting in 27 touchdowns.

Fans are excited to see their Bears next season, especially with them having one of the toughest schedules in 2026.

Chicago Bears’ Caleb Williams sends best wishes to fellow Terrell Burgess

It has been a busy offseason for Williams. The first overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft was recently announced as the cover athlete of Madden NFL 27. Many NFL fans are now wondering if the infamous “Madden Curse” will affect Williams and the Bears this season.

On top of that, the Chicago quarterback also celebrated a fellow NFL athlete’s milestone. New Orleans Saints Safety Terrell Burgess recently proposed to his girlfriend, Stine.

In a joint Instagram post with his now-future wife, Burgess is shown wearing an off-white shirt, white pants, and brown shoes. His girlfriend was wearing a white dress while the Saints’ safety was kneeling on one knee.

Williams was among those who congratulated Burgess on this special moment in his life. The 6-foot-1 quarterback left a simple comment

“Congrats,” wrote the Bears QB.

After an impressive year for Chicago, expectations are high for Williams and the Bears next season. The Madden 27 cover athlete and his squad might have a target on their back as the reigning NFC North champions.
