The Chicago Bears will face against their NFC North rival Green Bay Packers in the wild-card round on Saturday night at Soldier Field.
The Bears and Packers split the regular season series 1-1. Chicago needed a comeback aided with an onside kick recovery to beat Green Bay 22-16 in overtime in Week 16, the last meeting between the two teams.
The Bears enter the game on a two-game losing streak while the Packers have lost four games in a row. Green Bay has not been the same since losing Micah Parsons to an ACL tear in the second half of their loss to the Denver Broncos on on Dec. 14.
Per the Bears, three players have been ruled out for the wild-card matchup.
Defensive back C.J. Gardner-Johnson (concussion), linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga (concussion), and defensive lineman Joe Tyron-Shoykina (concussion) will not play the Packers.
Earlier this week, the Bears opened the 21-day window for Kyler Gordon (groin) and offensive tackle Braxton Jones (knee) to return from injured reserve. They were marked as questionable to play Green Bay.

Wide receiver Rome Odunze has no designation for Saturday night’s game.
Bears head coach Ben Johnson suggested that he wanted to see how Odunze and Gordon performed at practice before the team decided how big of a role they’d play on Saturday night.
“He looked good yesterday,” Johnson said of Gordon. “We’ll see what it looks like again today both him and Rome, you know. It’s good to have them both back out there. They’re excited. They’re moving around well and we’ll see if they can help us out this weekend.”
Odunze and Gordon were both limited in practice on Tuesday and Wednesday before being full participants on Thursday, a good sign for their availability to play against the Packers.
