The Kansas City Chiefs are set play the Philadelphia Eagles in a Super Bowl rematch.
Kansas City will host the Eagles in Week 2 of the NFL season. Philadelphia heads into the game at 1-0 after defeating the Dallas Cowboys while the Chiefs sit at 0-1 after losing to the Los Angeles Chargers.
The last time the Chiefs met the Eagles was Super Bowl 59, when Kansas City suffered a 40-22 loss in the final game of the season.
As the Chiefs prepare for vengeance, they're bringing back a familiar face to hype up the crowd and get everybody ready for the atmosphere in Kansas City.
On Tuesday, the Kansas City Chiefs announced that Tyrann "Honey Badger" Mathieu, will serve as the Drum Honoree ahead of the matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.
"See you soon, Tyrann Mathieu," posted the official social media account of the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Honey Badger is making a trip back to the Kingdom to be this week's Drum Honoree!

The Kansas City Chiefs present a Drum Honoree before every home game and its usually represented by a former player, executive or other prominent figure to lead the drumming figure in GEHA Deck ahead each game.
Tyrann Mathieu played three seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played alongside some of the biggest stars in the NFL, such as Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and Chris Jones, from 2019 to 2021.
During his NFL career, ahead of his retirement from the NFL, Mathieu also played with the Houston Texans, Arizona Cardinals and New Orleans Saints.
Mathieu retired ahead of the 2025 season.
