The Kansas City Chiefs are gearing up to face the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

The Chiefs are 5-5, having lost their last two games after starting 5-3.

The last time running back Isiah Pacheco saw game action was Oct. 27 against the Washington Commanders.

The Chiefs won 28-7, and Pacheco recorded 12 carries for 58 yards. It was the most yards he gained so far this season.

But in that game, Pacheco sprained his MCL and was later considered week-to-week. He has missed the last two games.

Pacheco practiced in full on Wednesday and was limited on Thursday.

On Friday, he practiced in full again, but Chiefs head coach Andy Reid didn't give fans the update they were hoping to hear.

He spoke to the media and announced Pacheco is out for Sunday's game.

Kareem Hunt has handled the majority of the backfield workload with Pacheco out.

In the two games, Hunt has rushed for a combined 108 yards on 24 carries.

Pacheco is in his fourth season with the Chiefs after they drafted him in the seventh round in 2022.

Kickoff between the Chiefs and the Colts is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET on CBS.
