Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice made headlines for all the wrong reasons on Wednesday. This is after his ex-girlfriend, Dacoda Nichole Jones, posted damaging accusations about the Chiefs star on social media. Jones has accused Rice of domestic abuse over the eight years they were together.

Jones posted multiple photos on Instagram on Wednesday showing bruises and cuts all over her body. She also shared pictures of property damage, which she alleges was caused by Rice. Jones also accused the Chiefs WR of hurting her while she was pregnant.

Jones added a lengthy caption to her post, which also alleges that Rice has been an absentee father to their two kids.

The Chiefs issued a statement on Wednesday night. As reported by Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com, it appears that the team is addressing the allegations against Rice.

"The club is aware of the allegations on social media and is in communication with the National Football League. We have no further comment at this time."

This is a developing story and will be updated shortly.
