Kansas City entered the season looking for revenge after a Super Bowl loss last season. The Chiefs lost to the Philadelphia Eagles and kicked off the year with a matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

As Kansas City builds its record, looking to climb up the conference standings, all eyes are on Rashee Rice.
The Chiefs wide receiver is set to return in Week 7 after serving a six-game suspension from the NFL.
With Rice returning to the lineup, the Chiefs had to make an immediate move in the wide receiver room. According to Nick Jacobs, Kansas City released Jason Brownlee in an ensuing move for Rice.

Jason Brownlee has been in the NFL since 2023. Brownlee played for the New York Jets from 2023 to 2024 and was rostered on the Chiefs last season.
He played college football at East Mississippi and Southern Miss, having gone undrafted in 2023 after making two all-conference teams in college.
The return of Rashee Rice will be a massive boost for Patrick Mahomes.
Rice has emerged as the Kansas City Chiefs' top wide receiver over the past several seasons. He had an incredible rookie year in 2023 and followed that with a strong start in 2024 before suffering an injury that kept him out most of the season.
The Chiefs' wide receiver recently served a suspension for violating the league's personal conduct policy for his involvement in a multi-vehicle crash.
