The Green Bay Packers and their fans are flying high after their 35-25 victory over Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night. Jordan Love, who was drafted to eventually replace the future Pro Football Hall of Famer back in 2020, completed 27 of his 39 passes for 360 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. He became the first player in NFL history to have those numbers along with 20 consecutive completed passes.
As good as the win was, though, the Packers did not play a perfect game, and some aspects of the team appeared woefully unprepared. Kicker Brandon McManus, in his first game back from injury, missed two field goals. Starting cornerback Keisean Nixon, too, underwhelmed in pass coverage.
Indeed, the cornerback play for Green Bay, which was a concern entering the season, has been a hot topic of conversation surrounding the team over recent weeks. And while Carrington Valentine played well against Pittsburgh following the benching of Nate Hobbs, the fact remains that the quality of depth at the cornerback position is a concern going forward.
And Green Bay’s cornerback depth just got a little thinner on Monday afternoon. Micah Robinson, whom the Packers selected in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL Draft, was signed off of their practice squad by the Tennessee Titans:

Robinson, who made the initial 53-man roster coming out of training camp, had previously been released by the team but re-signed a day later to the practice squad.
The Titans found themselves in need of a cornerback after they traded Roger McCreary to the Los Angeles Rams. Robinson, who has not yet appeared in an NFL game, will get a chance to do so now with Tennessee, who is just 1-7 this season.
Green Bay, meanwhile, will undoubtedly be on the lookout for more cornerback depth given the struggles of Hobbs and Nixon and now the loss of Robinson.
