Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes Gets Ideal Birthday Present

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has already done everything in the football space, with some already fitting him for a gold jacket.

But over the past 12 months, we have seen Patrick venture into life outside of football, and his biggest idea was to open a restaurant with his partner in crime, Travis Kelce.

Called 1587 Prime, with Mahomes' No. 15 and Kelce's No. 87 combined, the Steakhouse is set to be opened on Patrick's birthday in Kansas City, which is a neat thing to happen for the quarterback.

In an Instagram post by the restaurant, Mahomes and Kelce are seen taste-testing the menu with so many different options being brought to the duo.

Seeing this post, Mahomes posted "30th Birthday Party?!?! " in response to it.

So yeah, we think that the future Hall of Fame quarterback will have his birthday celebrations at the restaurant, which makes sense.

Given we are seeing more and more athletes look to get their lives outside of football in order over the past couple of years, with Kelce himself admitting to doing that last offseason, this latest venture looks to be a home run.

And as for Mahomes' birthday, we can't really think of a better way to announce the restaurant to the world than having Patrick and his high-profile friends there for a special night.

Mahomes has been the gold standard for excellence in the NFL for years; maybe now that will transfer into the food industry, and we think he and Kelce's new business will be a monster hit.
