Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Nohl Williams avoided a hefty fine from their game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Williams was left out of the NFL’s Week 4 accountability report and will not be fined for his unnecessary roughness penalty against Raiders wide receiver Jalen Nailor.

The 24-year-old was flagged at the 5:30 mark of the second quarter. Williams was penalized for a forceful, high hit on Nailor, who was assessed for a concussion and had to miss the remainder of the game.

The NFL reviewed the incident and decided not to fine Williams. For context, a hit on a defenseless player would have carried a $17,911 fine for a first offense. Alternatively, a fine of $23,882 is issued for impermissible use of the helmet/launching, under the 2026 NFL fine schedule.

Williams has not been fined so far in his first two seasons in the NFL, but he has been called for multiple on-field penalties.

Kansas City ultimately secured a tightly contested 30-27 win against their rivals. The Chiefs remain undefeated at 4-0.

Williams logged four tackles in the win, while superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes paced the offense, completing 15 of 30 passes for 225 yards and two touchdowns.

The Chiefs have a bye in Week 5 and will take on the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 6 on Oct. 18 at Arrowhead Stadium.

Meanwhile, the Raiders suffered a second straight loss in Week 5. They fell to the New England Patriots on Sunday, 45-17, dropping to 3-2 on the season.
