Kansas City running back Isiah Pacheco is heading into his fourth season as a member of the Chiefs franchise.

Pacheco's tough running style and solid production has endeared him to the franchise and its fans. But as he prepares for Year 4 in the NFL, the 26-year-old running back is also making moves off the field.

Pacheco, who played four seasons for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, went back to school to finish his college degree. The two-time Super Bowl champion received his diploma in a graduation ceremony on Tuesday.

Pacheco majored in criminal justice, according to Rutgers' football roster page.

"From Super Bowl champ to college grad — Isiah Pacheco came back to finish what he started!" Rutgers football wrote on social media.

On Wednesday, the Chiefs' official social media account shared a reaction of its own.

"That's our guy Huge congrats to @isiah_pachecoRB for graduating from Rutgers University!" the team wrote on X.

Pacheco entered the league as the Chiefs' 251st overall pick in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL draft. He rushed for 830 yards and five touchdowns in his rookie season, and followed that campaign with a 935-yard, seven-touchdown season in Year 2.

Pacheco missed 10 regular-season games in 2024 after suffering a fractured fibula in the Chiefs' Week 2 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. He was able to return for the postseason, where Kansas City ultimately suffered a Super Bowl LIX loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Now with a college degree under his belt, Pacheco will look to mount a bounce-back season with the Chiefs in 2025.
