The Kansas City Chiefs delivered bad news on Travis Kelce Friday. The Chief’s tight end had a big week against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Divisional Round win as he caught two touchdown passes. He caught 12 touchdown passes in the regular season.
Kelce was expecting to be a big part of the plan Sunday as the passing offense needed his skill set of getting open quickly to help Patrick Mahomes, who is dealing with a high-ankle sprain.
Accoring to Tom Pelissero with the NFL Network, Kelce is listed as questionable for the game Sunday with a back issue. Mahomes has no designation for Sunday.
#Chiefs TE Travis Kelce fully participated in practice today, but he was added to the injury report with a back issue and is listed as questionable for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the #Bengals.
QB Patrick Mahomes (ankle) has no designation and is good to go.
