Future Hall of Fame tight end and Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce still has a promising career ahead of him if he chooses to continue playing football. However, recent reports suggest that he’s contemplating a career shift towards the entertainment industry.

According to a recent article from PEOPLE, Kelce has expressed a keen interest in entering the entertainment world.

“He’s really enjoyed hosting, and after he retires, he wants to lean into acting and hosting. He had a blast at 'SNL.'”

While he’s already co-hosting a successful podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce, who is also destined for the Hall of Fame as an offensive lineman, Travis has aspirations to expand his involvement in the entertainment realm.

This news isn’t entirely surprising, as Kelce has previously shared his post-football plans with reporters.

“I’ve been fortunate to do a few things outside of the sports world that I’ve been enjoying doing, like getting on camera. The 'SNL' stuff kind of opened up a new happiness and a new career path for me, but it’s funny for me to even say that at this point in my career because I think it’s so much further down the road than it is right now.”

Known for his vibrant personality and party spirit, it’s evident that Kelce’s zest for life and enjoyment is likely to persist long after his football days come to a close.

For the Chiefs, they hope the career change isn’t coming anytime soon. As long as Patrick Mahomes and Kelce are on the field together, they’re going to be a team that competes for Super Bowl after Super Bowl.
