Two games into his career with Kansas City, receiver Kadarius Toney looks worth the two draft picks the Chiefs dealt to get him.
In Sunday's 27-17 win against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Toney scored his first NFL touchdown, a six-yard pass to put the Chiefs up 7-0 in the first quarter.

Not only did Toney tiptoe the sideline, hopping into the end zone on one foot, but the newly acquired Chief had more than 20 yards of separation, the most in the NFL on any scoring play in more than five seasons.
4. On Kadarius Toney’s 1Q TD, he had 20.4 yds of target separation when the pass arrived… the most by ANY player on a TD in NGS history (since 2016)

Said Toney, per KSHB-TV in Kansas City: "As I was hopping, I was just sitting there thinking, like, what did I do to be in this position? Like, how can I thank God any more?"
The 2021 first-round pick had 90 yards on Sunday — four catches for 57 yards and two carries for 33 yards.
One week before the trade deadline, Kansas City traded third- and a sixth-round picks to the New York Giants for Toney.
On Sunday, the Chiefs played without injured fourth-year pro Mecole Hardman, giving Toney an expanded role.
In 12 games for the Giants, Toney was scoreless. It took Andy Reid & Co. two games to get him into end zone.
