Welcome to my weekly Cleveland Browns rooting guide looking at the best outcomes for the Cleveland Browns. With many of the top quarterbacks in the league not being selected in the first three picks, the Browns winning games isn't a bad thing, it shows the roster is loaded and able to continue improving with another offseason.

What we will cover weekly in this article:

- Playoffs Odds For The Browns

- Current AFC Playoff Games

- AFC North Odds

- AFC Playoff Odds

- Odds For The First Overall Pick

- Rooting Guide For Key Games

Playoffs Odds For The Browns

The odds for the Browns to make the playoffs going into each week of Sunday games, once Thursday Night Football has been played:

Pre Week 1: +600
Pre Week 2: +900
Pre Week 3: +725
Pre Week 4: +300
Pre Week 5: +290

Current AFC Playoff Games

If the season ended now, the current AFC playoff games would be:

Bye: Chiefs
Patriots @ Jaguars
Raiders @ Bills
Ravens @ Browns

AFC North Odds

Making the playoffs would be great, winning the division would be better, here are the odds:

AFC Playoff Odds

Who do the sportbooks think is the Browns main competitor for the playoffs?

Odds For The First Overall Pick

Here are the odds for the the ten most likely teams to finish with the worst record. Each week I will track this so we can see teams entering and dropping out of the top ten too. Green shows most likely to get the first pick. Grey is outside the top ten that week. Red is the Browns odds if they are outside the top ten.

Rooting Guide For Key Games

Ravens @ Falcons (-3.0): Come on Kevin, do it for Cleveland. The Browns building a lead at the top of the division would put them in an even better position.

Bengals (-6.5) @ Dolphins: This seems like a no hope chance of an upset but you never know, the Dolphins could pull it off.

Colts @ Steelers (-2.5): People will hate this, but I fear the Colts challenging more than the Steelers for an AFC playoff spot. The only fight in the Steelers currently is when their Head Coach and Quarterback are communicating.

Raiders @ Patriots (-3.5): I fear the Patriots more for a playoff spot than the Raiders come the end of the season. Good luck Kirk!

Seahawks (-2.5) @ Broncos: The Broncos should be pushing for a playoff spot. While it doesn't look like it now, this could be a game which gets them back on course with a win.

Weekly Mock Draft

What I want to do each week is a day 1/2 mock draft based on our current picks. To make this a more interesting exercise, I am going to work off the current draft order so it changes more week to week. The players selected runs off the consensus big board on Mock Draft Database, on trades, no players sliding. As I always say with drafts, don't worry too much about them until free agency has happened but let's have some fun! Age is always a factor for me, so check out the latest 2027 Age Guardrails Draft Board, exclusively for OBR VIPs.

Round 1 (Rams) - #21 Julian Sayin, QB

They would likely trade up to draft someone but those aren't the rule we are playing with here. So they stick and draft the best quarterback they can at 21 with Sayin being the seventh quarterback off the board.

Round 1 (Browns) - #22 A'Mauri Washington, DT

Collins is getting older so they draft a defensive tackle to pair with Graham while Hall remains the third disruptive defensive tackle in the unit. It is a rotational position so you need to have multiple players here.

Round 2 (Browns) - #54 Luke Reynolds, TE

They need more help at tight end as the room is empty outside of Fannin, Reynolds has had a fast start to 2026 so they look to cash in on the upside.

Round 3 (Browns) - #86 Teitum Tuioti, ED

There is a desperate need for more elite pass rush. They have lots of nice mid tier rushers behind Verse but they need a second player who could be a star to get the most out of everyone.
