Cleveland Browns Reveal Future Nick Chubb Move After Emotional Split

The Nick Chubb era is now in the rearview mirror of the Cleveland Browns, with the running back signing a one-year, $2.5 million contract with the Houston Texans. 

The former Georgia Bulldogs star tailback spent his first seven years in the NFL in a Browns uniform, and over the course, racked up 6,843 rushing yards and 51 touchdowns on 1,340 carries. He also earned Pro Bowl nods in four straight years from 2019 to 2022.

Without a doubt, Chubb left a big mark on the franchise, as one of the best to ever put on the team’s colors. While he’s no longer with the Browns, he will always be viewed in high regard, as further highlighted in the statement made by Cleveland owners Dee and Jimmy Haslam, where it’s implied that the running back will one day be welcomed into the franchise’s Ring of Honor.
