The CBS Sports college football panel featuring Randy Cross, a College Football Hall of Fame inductee and former second-round NFL draft pick, recently revealed their Week 14 picks.

While discussing the weekend slate, the crew reviewed some major conference battles like Texas versus Texas A&M, LSU versus Oklahoma and Michigan versus Ohio State.

In the matchup between the Tigers and Sooners, Cross believes an upset is due.

He predicted Oklahoma would defeat LSU, despite the Sooners heading into the game as a 6-point underdog, per ESPN BET

Cross believes Oklahoma's defense will help them pull off an upset win in Week 14.

"Give me the revitalized Oklahoma defense over LSU," Cross explained when CBS revealed his Sooners prediction.

The Sooners are heading into Week 14 with a 6-5 record. They're 2-5 in SEC play, having defeated the Auburn Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide

Oklahoma is fresh off a win over Alabama, where they dominated the Crimson Tide on the defensive end.

They took down Alabama 24-3 in Week 13, giving up 70 yards on the ground, 4.1 yards per play and 13 first-down conversions.

While the Sooners have struggled this season, they've proven to have one of the most talented defenses in the SEC. They're giving up 20.8 points per game (No. 21 in the country) and 4.6 yards per play (No. 12 in the country).
