Colts picked up a must-win over the Steelers to keep their playoff hopes alive
Grace Hollars/IndyStar / USA TODAY NETWORK

Week 15 was a must-win for the Indianapolis Colts, and they did just that.

They picked up their eighth win of the season, improving to 8-6 with their 30-13 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Colts Offense:

The offense showed signs of its poor performance last week in the first quarter. But Gardner Minshew had one of his best games of the season, and he did it without his top receiver and top two receivers. Minshew completed 18 of his 28 attempts for 215 yards and three touchdowns. More importantly, the Colts' run game got going after a multi-week hiatus, and they did so without their top two receivers due to injuries.

Colts Defense:

The Colts defense only allowed seven offensive points to the Steelers in Week 15. They made a lousy offense look bad, and that is precisely what you like to see. After a rough week rushing the passer last week, they picked up four sacks on their way to a dominant win over the Steelers, improving to 8-6 on the year and giving them a really good shot at the postseason.

Stat Leaders:

Passing

Gardner Minshew: 18/28 (64.3%), 215 yards, 3 touchdowns

Rushing

Trey Sermon: 17 rushes, 88 yards (5.2 ypc)

Receiving

Michael Pittman Jr.: 4 receptions, 78 yards (Left in the first half due to a concussion)

Tackles

E.J. Speed: 10 total tackles, 9 solo, 1 forced fumble

Sacks

Dayo Odeyingbo & Samson Ebukam: 1.5 sacks

Interception:

Nick Cross & Julian Blackmon: 1 interception
