through the body of Christ, and that is why my wife and I are joining with the @AO1Foundation to donate $250,000 to @mohhaiti’s earthquake disaster response efforts. These funds will be used to help provide medical supplies and shelter for those who desperately need it.

The 7.2 magnitude earthquake killed more than 2,200 people and left thousands injured. The death toll continues to rise. The quake came 11 years after another devastating earthquake killed between 220,000 to 300,000 people.
Wentz has been involved with Haiti since 2017. The veteran signal-caller helped build a sports complex and had his former Philadelphia Eagles teammates travel to the country with him for charitable work.
In addition to Wentz, the New England Patriots have also been involved in relief efforts, sending their team plane to the country with medical professionals and supplies.
Wentz returned to Colts practice Monday after undergoing foot surgery earlier this month. He's optimistic about being ready for Week 1, telling reporters he's going to take things day by day.
