Nearly a week ago today, Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay passed away peacefully at age 65. He spent 50-plus years working within the Colts' organization, but assumed sole ownership in 1997.
During Irsay's time as owner, the Colts brought in one Super Bowl championship and appeared in another. His legacy will be forever remembered in Indianapolis' history.
The Colts released an official tribute video for Irsay on Tuesday morning as a way to show appreciation for everything he did for the city and for the organization.

Irsay always held the utmost respect for the team and its fans. "But mostly I'm just so happy for our fans because they've stuck with us and we've really grown into an incredible football town and state in Indiana," Irsay said after winning Super Bowl XLI. "I'm mostly happy for them because they've put a lot of emotional commitment and backed us in such a big way, and you feel like you wanna deliver for them."
Following his passing, the football community has shown incredible support for the Irsay family. His daughters, Carlie Irsay-Gordon, Casey Foyt, and Kalen Jackson, have been on the minds of many during this tough time.
Outside of football, Irsay was a generous man who was passionate about helping others in hard situations and ending animal abuse. His impact will not be forgotten in the lives of many.
