There's nothing NFL fans fear more than seeing their favorite quarterback appear on the injury report - no matter how big or small the injury may be. So after seeing reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year Jayden Daniels pop up on the injury list with a wrist issue, Washington Commanders fans got nervous - especially with a short week before Thursday Night Football.
Fortunately, it looks like whatever it was will be a non-issue.
After listing Daniels on the injury report last week and playing him in Week 1, the Commanders removed him from the list entirely today. He was a full participant in practice for a third day in a row and did not receive any sort of designation ahead of tomorrow's game against the Green Bay Packers.
Per the team's injury report, punter Tress Way and defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr. are questionable back and knee injuries respectively. Five other players were on the list with various injuries but are all good to go.

The Commanders enjoyed a relatively straightforward win over the rival New York Giants in Week 1, taking the lead on their second drive and never giving it up as they beat the Giants 21-6.
Daniels picks up right where he left off in 2024, completing over 60-percent of his passes for 233 yards and a touchdown along with 68 rushing yards. Rookie running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt had an impressive NFL debut, rushing just 10 times but getting 82 yards and a touchdown.
While nobody went over 100 yards from scrimmage for either team, Commanders wide receiver Deebo Samuel had a game-leading 77 receiving yards and had a 19-yard touchdown to give him 96 yards in the game.
The Washington Commanders reached the NFC Championship last season for the first time in over 30 years, largely on the back of Daniels. The team has ambitions to return to the postseason and maybe surpass last year's results. They'll need Daniels to truly prove that he's the quarterback everyone has hyped him up as.
So far, so good.
