The Washington Commanders could be without Terry McLaurin for their Week 4 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts after the wide receiver developed a hamstring issue.
McLaurin was added to the injury report ahead of Sunday’s international game in London, creating another concern for an offense already dealing with injuries. His status became a major talking point as Washington prepared for its trip to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic reported the update on Saturday, with McLaurin’s availability in doubt heading into the matchup.
Commanders WR Terry McLaurin was listed as questionable vs. the Colts after tweaking his hamstring on Friday. Not considered long-term, I’m told, and no final decision yet for Sunday. But it’s looking like he may not play, per source.

McLaurin’s potential absence would be a significant setback for Washington. The veteran receiver has recorded 10 catches for 141 yards and a touchdown through the first three games of the season.
He is also coming off a strong performance against the Seattle Seahawks. McLaurin caught six passes for 77 yards and a touchdown in Washington’s 33-31 victory, helping the team secure its first win of the season.
With McLaurin potentially sidelined, the Commanders may need other receivers to take on larger roles. Stefon Diggs could become an even more important target, while the rest of the receiving group would need to help Marcus Mariota keep the offense moving.
The timing is particularly challenging for Washington, which is trying to build momentum after its comeback win over Seattle. The Commanders are also looking to earn their first international victory as they face the Colts in London.
McLaurin’s status will be worth monitoring through pregame warmups and the release of the inactive list. Until Washington confirms his availability, the offense must prepare for the possibility of playing without its leading receiver.
