Robinson was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports that Robinson was struck with at least two bullets in the shooting.
My understanding is at least two bullets struck #Commanders RB Brian Robinson in the lower body. As @MikeGarafolo said, Robinson is hospitalized in stable condition. A terrible situation that could’ve been even worse.

Many, like David Hookstead of Outkick, spoke out about the gun violence in D.C., saying, "the city is so violent NFL players are being shot in broad daylight on busy streets."
The city had 12 shootings in one day just four days ago, per Fox 5 in Washington, D.C.
Robinson was in line to be the starter in the backfield for the Commanders this year. The focus now turns toward the running back's health and well-being.
Washington drafted Robinson in the third round of the 2022 NFL draft out of Alabama.
Robinson led the SEC in rushing touchdowns (14) in 2021. The 23-year-old added 1,343 rushing yards and caught 35 passes for 296 yards and two touchdowns in his final year at Alabama.
Over five seasons with the Crimson Tide, Robinson rushed for 2,704 yards and 29 touchdowns, averaging 5.0 yards per carry over 45 collegiate games.
