Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs has been dealing with a couple of issue of late. The All-Pro CB was nursing an illness heading into Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears. He then popped up on the injury report on Saturday with a knee injury.

Diggs, however, was upgraded from questionable to available against Chicago after going through pregame warmups. Unfortunately for the 27-year-old, he sustained what appears to be a new injury during the game.

Todd Archer of ESPN reported on X that Diggs is now dealing with a shoulder issue. As of writing, he has also been deemed questionable to return.

Trevon Diggs is questionable to return with a shoulder injury. Same with Kenny Clark (ankle),” Archer reported.

As indicated in the report, defensive tackle Kenny Clark is also a doubt to return to the game after suffering an ankle issue.

The injuries are piling up for Dallas in this one. CeeDee Lamb sustained an injury to his left ankle in the first quarter. He was able to return, but was eventually ruled out for the remainder of the game.

To add insult to injury, it appears that the Cowboys are heading toward another loss. They entered Sunday’s contest on a high after defeating the New York Giants, 40-37, in a thrilling Week 2 overtime battle. However, the Bears have now dragged them back down to earth as Dallas faces the prospect of its second defeat in three games played this season.

As of writing, Chicago is up, 31-14, with five minutes left in the fourth quarter.
