Conference Championship Fantasy Football Rankings
Kevin Ng-Imagn Images

Although most fantasy managers stop playing fantasy football in the regular season, there are multiple fantasy football playoff options, including Fantasy Life’s Guillotine Leagues and DFS options. Here are the top players available at each position for Conference Championship Game Weekend. It is essential to note that these rankings are for this weekend only; they do not account for fantasy formats that benefit players who will play further down the line in the playoffs.

Fantasy Football Playoff Rankings: Conference Championship Weekend

Quarterbacks

Rank Player
1 Matthew Stafford
2 Drake Maye
3 Sam Darnold
4 Jarrett Stidham
  • Stafford was not great in the cold Chicago weather, completing less than 50% of his passes for 258 yards and no touchdowns. The Rams travel on the road again for the third straight week, this time to their divisional rival, the Seahawks. The last time Stafford went to Seattle in Week 16, he scored 30.88 fantasy points in the Thursday Night Football thriller of a game. He threw over 450 yards and three touchdown passes in the overtime loss. If the Rams want to go to the Super Bowl, they will need Stafford to have a big game.
  • Maye has had two underwhelming playoff performances from a fantasy football perspective, scoring just 17 and 14 points, respectively. He threw for three touchdowns against the Texans but turned the ball over three times. The game against Stidham and the Broncos should be a low-scoring affair, putting Maye behind Stafford in the fantasy football rankings for conference championship weekend.

Running Backs

Rank Player
1 Kenneth Walker III
2 Kyren Williams
3 Rhamondre Stevenson
4 RJ Harvey
5 TreVeyon Henderson
  • With the season-ending injury to Zach Charbonnet, the Seahawks backfield belongs entirely to Walker. He had 116 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries in the Divisional Round Victory. He scored 35.5 fantasy points, which was his highest total of the season. His previous high was 25.4 points against the Rams in Week 16. In fact, the only two games in which he scored over 20 fantasy points in the regular season were the two contests against Los Angeles. KW3 is the clear overall RB1 for fantasy football rankings for conference championship weekend.
  • Williams had a great game himself, rushing for 87 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries. He added four receptions for 30 yards. Corum only saw six carries for 19 yards after it was a close split for the second half of the season. The Rams are making Williams the workhorse back for the playoffs.
  • Stevenson was by far the better back in the Divisional Round, rushing for 70 yards on 16 carries, while Henderson had 25 yards on 12 carries. Stevenson added four receptions, while Henderson had one. Stevenson is the Patriots running back you want to have in fantasy football formats this weekend.

Wide Receivers

Rank Player
1 Puka Nacua
2 Jaxon Smith-Njigba
3 Stefon Diggs
4 Courtland Sutton
5 Davante Adams
6 Cooper Kupp
7 Kayshon Boutee
8 Marvin Mims Jr.
  • The two best receivers will battle it out for the third time this season. Nacua is coming off his second-worst game of the season, catching just five passes for 56 yards. In his two games against the Seahawks, he scored 14.3 and 46.5 fantasy points. The 46.5 point outburst came in the semifinal week of the fantasy football playoffs, leading many fantasy managers to their championship game. Now, Nacua will look to lead his team into the Super Bowl.
  • JSN only caught three passes for 19 yards and a touchdown in a game in which the Seahawks were winning from the opening kickoff. In his two games against the Rams, he scored 20.6 and 23.6 fantasy points.
  • Adams has not looked great in his return from injury and was out of sync with Stafford last Sunday. He only caught two of six targets for 24 yards. When Adams is not scoring touchdowns, his fantasy production is not there. His highest reception total on the season is only six receptions, and he has only topped 70 yards four times. He still finished as a top ten fantasy wide receiver despite missing three games.

Tight Ends

Rank Player
1 Colby Parkinson
2 Hunter Henry
3 AJ Barner
4 Evan Engram
  • The tight end position is the most unattractive group of the weekend, with no real superstar players left at the position. They are all cheap options, and the best tight ends will most likely come down to whoever can score a touchdown. Parkinson and Henry have the two best chances to get in the end zone, so they come in as the top two tight ends in the rankings for conference championship weekend.
