Could Browns make another addition to revamped offensive line?

The Cleveland Browns have been one of the most aggressive teams in the NFL offseason.

General manager Andrew Berry revamped the offensive line with an entirely new unit that includes Spencer Fano, this year's No. 9 pick.

The Browns traded for OT Tytus Howard, signed G Zion Johnson and IOL Elgton Jenkins, re-signed G Teven Jenkins, and drafted Fano, OT Austin Barber and C Parker Brailsford to make up for the departures of Joel Bitonio, Jack Conklin, Ethan Pocic, Cam Robinson and Wyatt Teller.

Nevertheless, as promising as this new line might be, the Browns could use more experience at left tackle.

Considering that, Alex Kay of Bleacher Report stated they should sign former Detroit Lions star Taylor Decker, who's still a free agent after being released earlier in the offseason.

Taylor Decker makes perfect sense for the Browns

“Cleveland shouldn’t shy away from pulling off one more blockbuster maneuver,” Kay wrote. “To finish their offensive line renovations—which included taking Spencer Fano at No. 9 overall in the draft, trading for Tytus Howard and signing both Elgton Jenkins and Zion Johnson—the Browns should make a run at veteran left tackle Taylor Decker.”

While the Browns have done an amazing job of rebuilding an offensive line that was aging, brittle and full of free agents, adding a proven blindside protector to the mix will give them even more insurance.

“Decker’s presence would provide flexibility for an O-line that might have to shuffle the deck several times this season to find the best possible configuration,” Kay explained.

The Browns are still figuring out whether it'll be Shedeur Sanders or Deshaun Watson who'll start at quarterback.

Regardless, having a veteran left tackle keeping the quarterback out of harm's way would certainly do wonders, and adding Decker would also allow the Browns to take things slowly with their promising first-round pick.

Decker could on the left side and Howard on the right while Fano gets a hold of the blocking schemes, and adding Decker likely won't require a long-term deal.
